An exclusive opportunity to spend a whole day behind the scenes with the Workshop team at Crich Tramway Village, including maintenance of a tramcar, test-driving, conducting a brake test and tea and lunch breaks with the team.

This lot must be taken by 30th September 2008.
Date of activity to be arranged between the winning bidder and Crich Tramway Village.
Winner will be responsible for their own travel to and from Crich Tramway Village.
Sturdy footwear should be brought and will not be provided.
The winner must be aged 16 or over and physically fit.

Nestling high up in the heart of Derbyshire overlooking the famous Derwent Valley and open almost throughout the year, Crich Tramway Village is a lovingly restored period village that is also home to the National Tramway Museum and its world renowned archives.

Trams run to and fro every few minutes as visitors ride over the cobbles of our period street, past the original facades of historic buildings from the around the country before heading up the valley to views that will take your breath away.
The TopLots Heritage Auction is a fundraising event organized by the Association of Independent Museums (Registered Charity: 1082215) acting as the agent for museums, historic houses and heritage organizations across the UK. Delivery of this lot, as described, to the winner is the responsibility of Crich Tramway Village who will receive (after direct transaction and listing costs) 80% of the winning bid. The remaining 20% is retained by the Association of Independent Museums.
