Description
Spend a day with historian and broadcaster Dan Snow as he films a documentary for English Heritage. Your day will give you an insight into the production of television documentaries and allow you to experience one of England's inspiring historic sites in the company of an engaging and enthusiastic historian.

This lot is for up to 2 people.
This lot must be taken up by 30 September 2008.
This lot will be taken on a day and at a time to be arranged between the winner and English Heritage.
The location of the lot will depend on Dan Snow's filming schedule and can be discussed with the winner.
The winner is responsible for the cost of travel to and from the location.
Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Additional Information
Dan Snow discovered his love of history early on. He has co-written and presented a number of military history programmes for TV, including 'Battlefield Britain' and 'Whose Britain is it Anyway?'. He is also an accomplished rower and has sailed across the Atlantic.
The TopLots Heritage Auction is a fundraising event organised by the Association of Independent Museums (Registered Charity: 1082215) acting as the agent for museums, historic houses and heritage organizations across the UK. Delivery of this lot, as described, to the winner is the responsibility of English Heritage who will receive 80% of the winning bid (less direct transaction and listing costs). The remaining 20% is retained by the Association of Independent Museums.
